PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
In the 21st century, where knowledge is changing so rapidly, it is very important that skills such as Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity and Character are developed in each child. Over the last 18 months we have been living in fear of covid-19 wondering whether our drastic measures to keep ourselves safe will keep the virus at bay. It was a situation of great concern as the impact on the progress of the learners was widespread, with fears that home-schooling would widen the attainment gap among the students. Inspite of all these hindrances we have continued with our vision and mission.
El-Bethel is a school, which is a trusted space where students can be themselves, love learning and aspire to academic and co-curricular excellence. We provide opportunities for students to discover their passions and build their capacities for action and influence within their many life contexts. We believe in the understanding that learning is for all, proceeding on the basis that all students can learn given sufficient time and support, and that good schools and good teaching make a positive difference to students outcome of all ability levels and at all developmental levels.
Student progress and achievement are monitored very closely by each mentor at all times. We pride ourselves on knowing our young scholars well, understanding that the relationships between teachers and students are foundational in developing confident and successful learners.
“EDUCATION IS NOT THE LEARNING OF FACTS, BUT THE TRAINING OF THE MIND TO THINK” – ALBERT EINSTEIN.
