The inception of El-Bethel College (B.Ed.) is interlaced with Mr K. N. Rahman, an engineer by profession and a visionary. The milestone was accomplished in the year 2008 with the unanimous consent, support and encouragement from a fraternity of erudite scholars. El- Bethel B.Ed. College, accredited from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated to The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA) is set on a sprawling campus; the picturesque village at Rasapunja, in the district of South 24 Parganas provides a unique backdrop.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO B.Ed. COURSE
- General & Muslim Minority Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission
- The Relaxation of marks for SC/ST/PWD is 5%
- Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe from other states will not get the reservation facility for SC/ST
